People often travel either by themselves, or with other companions. Some though, travel with animals. Pets often will travel with their owner, although how far they travel depends on the animal. Cats, birds and rodents are unlikely travel companions, due to their willingness to ‘do their own’ thing, as well as rodents having many predators. Dogs are the most obvious pets which will follow their owners to far and away depths, with little fuss. Usually, travellers will take their pets abroad when the heat isn’t as hot as it could be, as some pets have a much lower tolerance to hot weather compared to a human’s.
